I have over seven years’ research experience working with bio-statistics at the interface between the public and private sectors.
Previous to founding Epi-connect in 2016, I worked as a research associate for the Veterinary Public Health Institute in Switzerland (2011-2015); for the Department of Infectious Disease Epidemiology at Imperial College London (2010-2011); and for the African Research Consortium on Population and Ecosystem Health (2010) in Côte d’Ivoire. She collaborated very closely with the Swiss Federal Food Safety and Veterinary Office and the Department for Environment Food & Rural Affairs in the UK.
I speak fluent French and English, have a good working knowledge of German.
Our values guide our actions
At Epi-Connect, we are passionate about ecosystem and population health. We believe in the One Health concept as a worldwide strategy for expanding interdisciplinary collaborations and communications in all aspects of health care.
As such, we endeavour to engage in research which delivers evidence and knowledge used to optimise health for people, animals and the environment. We apply interdisciplinary thinking to solve problems and create the conditions for stronger communities locally, nationally and across the globe.
Success through collaborations
We work side by side with our clients, building long-lasting relationships with them to respond and anticipate their needs.
“Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success.”
We understand the power of connecting people and are active in the animal epidemiology and disease surveillance community through organisations such as the International Disease Surveillance Society.
Aspiration to grow
At Epi-Connect, we seek to excel in our work and aspire to continually enhance our insight into the industry, securing our position as domain experts. We leverage all opportunities to develop , coach and grow.
We know a lot about epidemiology, human and veterinary public health, data analytics, surveillance systems… and never stop learning! We have recently completed the data science specialisation offered by the Johns Hopkins University .
